 Confusing

I found this site hard to navigate. One thing that irked me is that you couldn't select your exact weight or height, which could either benefit or hurt people if they fall into the higher or lower end of a particular range.

STAY AWAY

UDate is simply a haven for married men. I met one and he had some sob story about his wife. I did not fall for it. I also met another who was married to sports...and wasn't really available either. Both were pretty nice. I was ready for a relationship, and I thought they both liked me. But they had issues.

 They Don't Protect Women

My main complaint about Udate is that they don't offer enough protection for the women. Also it is difficult to browse other members. They have gotten pickier about the photos they will post. The men seem to be able to post photos in skimpy briefs that barely hide their private parts, while women are only shown from the neck up. |

I think U date is simply out to take people's money. My mother paid for the service and is unable to connect to it. They do not want to assist in connecting problems. They got their money and that is all they care about. I think UDATE is a hoax. |
low caliber women

Most of the women I met there are low caliber, ie: needy, housekeepers pretending to be high society, picky as hell, married but separated, married and NOT seperated, shallow commentary ad nauseum. I can expect it isn't any different on your side. A great majority don't even post a photo but are looking for above average looking men.I get the impression it is just a place for bored lonely people to browse around. |

I really like their two-way match function which allows you to not only search for people who meet your criteria, but also search for people for whom you meet theirs. As a 5'5" man, it's nice to be able automatically filter out the 95% or so women who want someone taller.

Udate would easily be the best if it had a larger membership base. It has more search criteria than the other matchmaking sites, making its search the most powerful. It's downfall is that at the present time, you can't be more specific about search location than your home state (which is probably due to its smaller than normal membership base).
